Terms of Service

IAG Journal is a local-first trade journal for options traders. The free tier runs entirely on your computer and does not require an account. Pro features require an IAG Journal account and an active subscription (or a complimentary grant from us). We may add, change, or remove features over time.

You must be at least 18 years old to use IAG Journal. If you create an account, you're responsible for the activity under it and for keeping access to your email (sign-in uses email magic links). Tell us promptly at support@iagjournal.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We may limit the number of devices that can be signed in to one account at a time.

• Plan and price. IAG Journal Pro is offered on a monthly subscription at $9.99/month or an annual subscription at $99/year (plus any applicable taxes), unless stated otherwise at checkout. We may change pricing prospectively; changes won't affect the price of a subscription already in effect for its current term.
• Free trial. New subscriptions include a 30-day free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to paid and your payment method is charged for the first term.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless cancelled beforehand. Your payment method is charged at renewal.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal linked in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep Pro features until then.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll review it in good faith.
• Payment processing. Payments are handled by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe's terms.

You agree not to:

• break the law, infringe others' rights, or use IAG Journal to harm anyone;
• probe, scan, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts;
• reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service except as the software's license permits;
• misuse the brokerage-API or account features in violation of your broker's terms.

Your imported trades and everything derived from them stay in a local database on your computer; we don't receive that data. The limited data tied to an IAG Journal account is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for your own backups of the local database.

IAG Journal is a journaling and visualization tool. It is notfinancial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Figures, P&L, and charts are derived from data you import and may contain bugs or calculation errors— do not rely on them for trading, tax, or other decisions. Always verify against your broker's official statements. Trading options involves substantial risk of loss.

IAG Journal is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data or calculation it presents is accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Euphaura Records, LLC and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or trading losses, arising out of or relating to IAG Journal. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (or USD $50 if you paid nothing).

You may stop using IAG Journal and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above; for material changes we'll provide additional notice where appropriate. Continuing to use IAG Journal after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes will be the state or federal courts located there, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
